“There are three kinds of pits:

the kind we jump into, the kind we accidentally slip into,

and the kind we’re thrown into.”

Jennie Allen

Our Approach

I believe we get stuck because of our thinking, and the way we get unstuck is to change our thinking! But how do we do that? Is it possible?!

The formal name for my therapeutic process is Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, also known as CBT. For me, however, CBT is rooted in biblical truths. In addition to CBT, I incorporate brainspotting, a brain-body therapy. Brainspotting is a powerful technique that identifies, processes, and releases the core neurophysiological sources of emotional and physical pain.

“And do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, so that you may prove what the will of God is, that which is good and acceptable and perfect.” Romans 12:2

I’m not your “let’s sit and talk about the problem for years” kind of girl.

My approach to therapy is faith-based and solution-focused! My method is active and engaging; we will get to work from day one! If you’ve experienced trauma, I now offer brainspotting. This therapy is designed to help people access, process, and overcome trauma, negative emotions, and pain, including psychologically induced physical pain. So, if you feel stuck and ready for change but unsure how to make these changes, I am here to help!

Online or In-person

I offer in-person and remote appointments. I love meeting face-to-face! However, remote appointments allow me to meet with people that live at a distance. Online appointments are also perfect for people with busy schedules. You pick what works best for you!

Out-of-Network Benefits

Many insurance companies offer "out-of-network" benefits. In this situation, you will pay out of pocket at the time of service and submit a claim to your insurance company for reimbursement. You may do this on the insurance company's member website or portal. You will be provided with the necessary paperwork, known as a Superbill, that your insurance company will use to reimburse you if out-of-network benefits are available with your plan. Many of our clients use their Health Savings/Flex Spending accounts for our services, whether they have insurance or not.

Cancellation/ Reschedule Policy

Cancellations and reschedules must be made at least 24 hours in advance to avoid being charged for the full session. You will receive an appointment reminder text. There are many people seeking help, timely cancellations and reschedules allow for that appointment time to be filled with another individual in need.
